Tax time is beginning again, and as the 2012 W2s roll in people everywhere will be rushing to get their (hopefully) big returns. And while there sure are a lot of fun things you could do with that money, like a trip or some fun new gadgets or toys, there are also a few more practical ways to spend your return that could be very helpful for your financial health.
Consider using your tax return to pay down any credit card or loan debt you may have. If you have no credit card debt, you could make a large payment on your home or car to get you ahead of the game with your mortgage. If you have little or no emergency savings, consider placing your tax return in a savings account with a nice interest rate. However you choose to spend you return remember, using it to make yourselves more financially secure is an investment that will help you in the long run.

this is smart advice.
good idea. we have plenty of loans to pay down, haha
